Fat Chair?…
By Oliver | August 28, 2007
Hey Everybody,
I found a very interesting article from Big Fat Deal’s blog…artist Mark Wentzel has created an “obese” version of the famous Eames Chair, Wentzel says: “The piece is obviously about consumption. It gives the opportunity to a particular viewer to grab their stomach and say,
‘Wow. That’s me.’” Is that how we feel when we stop and analyze ourselves–do we see a La-Z-boy or a tall, slim counter stool? It can be eye opening to consider how we view ourselves, but opening our eyes is only the first step.
The most important step is ACTION! Karen Daniels from Montana had a problem with her weight and it hindered her from doing the activities she wanted to do. “I’ve learned portion control,” Daniels said. “We live in a world of super-sizing and there’s no reason for it.” Karen has lost over 100 pounds and shares this: “We’re off to a wonderful start,” she said. “I want to keep it that way.” Congratulations, Karen, we are all behind you.
I would like to know what you think about the large chair. What action do you think should be taken to avoid being a “fat chair”?

i think the secret is action as well but continuous action. it takes a lot of discipline but i saw results quite quickly . so just after 2-3 months i notice huge results. and the nice thing about this diet is you don’t put the weight back on again if you stick to it. i can only recommend it. i used to be a fait chair but i’m a slim one now for over a year and I’m loving it.
